Fearless Entrepreneur @ Leaders

By Julia Leckey

Think. Plan. Do in three minutes or less.

Welcome to the bi-weekly edition of Think, Plan, Do, where I walk you through my process of launching two businesses in 2024 and share insights on being a Fearless Leader and Entrepreneur.

Even if you're not launching a business or a leader, this will help you think about whatever you will launch or help you become a fearless leader.

Back to posting.

Yah.

Shall we?

  1. THINK

    What does Success look like?

This seems like a big, obvious question.

I asked my dad’s art dealer this question over the weekend as he stood in the little pop-up shop he’d rented in London. The shop was brimming with great art but not many shoppers.

“Number of sales,” was his answer. “Have you got lots of sales?” I asked. “No, not many,” he answered. :(

He owned a gallery in a tiny town in the Midlands and wanted to expand his reach. “What have you learned?” I asked him. “Lots,” he replied with a smile.

  • I now understand more about the London market, and it has huge potential.

  • I made some amazing connections for my black book.

  • I received three invites to prestigious art events in London where I networked with great arty people.

  • I’ve extended my circle of influence from a small pond into this vast ocean.

  • This site is great, has low rent, and I am learning a lot from the gallery owners next door.

  • I’ve been offered the opportunity to host an event for an artist from the Great British Throw Down.

2. PLAN

How can knowing this help you?

Think about what success means to you. If you delay reward: if you can work without an instant reward and needing instant gratification, you can beat everybody.

3. Do

Get stuck into the doing, get out into the World and make stuff happen.

You can have everything. Most people struggle with this. They don’t want to put the time into the Thinking, the Planning, and the Doing and the waiting.

If you defeat short-term needs, if you can learn to persist, you don’t have to worry too much.
